I want to share three quotes with you that should be put in whatever you use to remind yourself ofthose things that are important.

I often ask people to start a “My Successful Actions” book

At the back of the book start writing your wins as they occur.

From the front of the book write the things you did right that contributed to your successes.

It is all too easy to drop out successful actions and forget them.

In the insurance industry we recognised that so well we had a saying for it, “Oh, we tried that and it worked so we dropped it out!”

Add to your successful actions book daily or weekly and reread it monthly.

This will do several things.

It will remind you of your successful actions.

It will boost your morale.

It will pull your attention off the negatives and the losses and put it on the positives.

Quote number 1

“The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” Michelangelo - Artist (1475 - 1564)

Quote number 2

Most people over estimate what they can get done in a day and under estimate what they can do in a decade.

Quote number 3

The ordinary things we do on a daily basis have extraordinary effects. Dr Frank Lipman New York

The majority of people all over the world take it for granted that people are bad. But what if we have it all wrong? Dutch historian Rutger Bergman examines findings from the social sciences and argues that research each converges on the idea that people are good by nature.

And don’t get sucked into playing it or be distracted from playing your game. If you are not totally happy doing what you are doing then fgure out what game in life you would most enjoy and start working on how you can get into that game. If you have difficulty working out what your basic purpose is, call me.

An essay from Nancy Searle

A friend on Facebook posted: Nancy read my mind: Mao’s “Cultural Revolution” is being repeated all around us, and I recently resolved to study this period in Chinese history to better understand what we’re witnessing around us today.

Nancys wrote: “In the 1960’s a man named Mao Tse Tung told young people in China that the nation had suffered because of the “rich landowners,” the “bourgeois capitalists.” Those words were used to put a target on the back of any who owned anything. Literally. If they were prospering, and you were poor, then it was unfair and action was required. He organized the youth into groups called the Red Guards to bring about social justice. They were empowered to take any action they wanted against the the adults around them. So they destroyed or stole their property and put them on public platforms to be beaten with sticks. They created a humiliating punishment called “the airplane” in which the tortured soul’s arms were pulled straight behind the body like swept jet wings, and then they took clippers and cut their hair off to the scalp with a viciousness that left the victim bloodied.

The wrath spread to any that the mob wanted to target. So not surprisingly, they also beat their own teachers and destroyed schools. Anyone of influence was viewed as a threat to the new social order and purged. Religious and cultural relics were destroyed. All of this was part of the plan to destroy the “Four Olds” - old ideas, old customs, old culture and old habits. Society collapsed from the chaos and pain, all carried out in the name of socio-economic purification. It had to be done. Mao smiled approvingly, cementing his power via these young agents of terror.

This Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution that began in 1966 ultimately resulted in an estimated 1.5 million deaths and banishment of 20 million more (to rural areas and poverty). In the end, the people of China were left powerless and the state grew into the all-powerful communist regime that we know today, the one that “disappears” journalists, doctors, professors, ethnic and religious minorities, and anyone else who exercises unapproved speech.

And the poor are still poor.

And here we are in the USA in 2020, with mobs ravaging business owners. Somewhere along the way in years past the voices of insurrection found and collected disenfranchised youths and whispered in their collective ears in a way that would make Mao smile. They heard the message of unfairness, of social injustice, and it resonated to them. Their anger was built to an explosive level. And then a sudden spark, the catalyst that the fathers of anarchy had been waiting for. This, they tell them, is the time. Go out and inflict pain to achieve justice. Tear down and destroy. Loot and burn. Make the privileged kneel and confess their sins. Do it with a righteous vengeance to any who have more than you or who dare to defy your power. Tear down symbols of the past. Enforce limits on speech. A new day has come. You, the youth of America, are the key. And so they have.

Ultimately, they will be discarded, just as they were in China. The puppet masters will have achieved their goal, the dismantling of the American Olds ... individual liberty and the system of capitalism. The state will rule with supreme authority, freed of the limitations of the old outdated Constitution for the sake of New Ideals. The mob will have served its purpose.

And the poor will still be poor.” -Nancy Searle

Rudolph Steiner Quote

Rudolph Steiner

More than a hundred years ago, Rudolf Steiner wrote the following:

“In the future, we will eliminate the soul with medicine. Under the pretext of a “healthy point of view”, there will be a vaccine by which the human body will be treated as soon as possible directly at birth, so that the human being cannot develop the thought of the existence of soul and Spirit.

To materialistic doctors, will be entrusted with the task of removing the soul of humanity. As today, people are vaccinated against this disease or disease, so in the future, children will be vaccinated with a substance that can be produced precisely in such a way that people, thanks to this vaccination, will be immune to being subjected to the “madness” of spiritual life. He would be extremely smart, but he would not develop a conscience, and that is the true goal of some materialistic circles.

With such a vaccine, you can easily make the etheric body loose in the physical body. Once the etheric body is detached, the relationship between the universe and the etheric body would become extremely unstable, and man would become an automaton, for the physical body of man must be polished on this Earth by spiritual will. So, the vaccine becomes a kind of arymanique force; man can no longer get rid of a given materialistic feeling. He becomes materialistic of constitution and can no longer rise to the spiritual”.

Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925)

I was told today the Qantas do not think they’ll be flying overseas for another 12 months. This is lunacy. We need to wake up more people as to the wasteful and pointless destruction of our civilisation that is being orchestrated in the name of security from something only as dangerous as the normal flu.

For those who like to form their opinions on statistics rather than main stream press fear mongering... ...I tender this:

The cost of the lockdown vastly outweigh the benefits of the lockdown and this data has been around years. The government have not done their due diligence on the cost benefit analysis of lockdown versus retaining freedom.

The government used data from Neil Ferguson’s “alway-gets-it-wrong” software to justify the lockdown but the real crime is that since that software has been proven to be outrageously wrong we are still pursuing the same fatal policies. This is insane!

For people under 60, the risk of death from COVID-19 is less than or equal to seasonal influenza!

New Powerhouse not a museum but global 'embarrassment'

Parramatta Powerhouse

It’s not a museum. This is not a matter of opinion, it’s not a slander being spread by critics of the project. The proposed building in Parramatta the NSW government would like us to see as the home of a “relocated” Powerhouse Museum will be nothing more than an entertainment venue stuffed with cafes and reception areas.

The simplest on-line definition of a museum is: “a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic or cultural interest are stored and exhibited”. There is no on-site storage facility in the plans for the new building, and no thought given to a permanent collection which is the very heart of the institution.

The plan for the ’New Powerhouse’ reveals utterly inadequate facilities for displaying works of artistic and historical value. It will have only 25 per cent of the display area of the existing museum, and will not meet the necessary minimum thresholds to allow for loans from overseas institutions. There will be retail areas, 10 cafes and bars, but no collection storage, no conservation laboratory and only a single loading dock. The idea of “flexible” exhibition spaces means display areas will have to double up as party venues, severely limiting the kind of items that may be shown.

The Powerhouse’s permanent collection is to be exiled to existing storage facilities in Castle Hill, along with curators and other exhibition staff. Whenever displays are to be changed, items will have to be trucked over, incurring needless expense, wear and tear, and the risk of accident.

The new Powerhouse in Parramatta is set to be an embarrassing example of worst practice by international museum standards. Ironically the current Powerhouse would not loan valuable pieces from their collection to any institution so poorly equipped.

Until next time,
dream big dreams,
plan out how to achieve them,
be continually executing your plans,
enlist people to your causes,
travel and/or read widely, preferably both,
all the while observing what you observe
rather than thinking what you are told to think,
think well of your fellow man,
take time to help your fellow man,
he sorely needs it and it will help you too,
eat food that is good for your body,
exercise your body,
take time to destress,
and do the important things
that make a difference -
they are rarely the urgent ones!
