How Some Will Remember the NZ PM

Not that our will be remembered any better

Remembering Ned Kelly
Remembering Ned Kelly

(Original post from a friend:)
At 10am on this day 138 years ago. Edward “Ned” Kelly was hung as an outlaw. Whilst he was “officially” considered an outlaw, Ned and the Kelly Gang’s very public stand against police brutality and social injustice was directly responsible for changing the laws of the land and making the Govt and police more accountable for their action at the time.

I wonder if much has really changed today or if the official deception has returned? It appears that everyday we are seeing video clips and reports of police brutality on the news and internet. The police then “investigate themselves” and mostly always found “innocent” of any wrongdoing. The politicians and the rich have not changed much either. The politicians do as they want regardless of the public’s wishes and best interests and if the law stands in their way they just re-write the laws to suit their needs and to hell with the common man.

So has anything really changed since Ned’s day or has the corruption slowly returned in new ways as the unscrupulous leaders of our country continue to steal from the workers so that they can get rich at our expense, whilst using the police as their private army to do so?

Maybe Australia needs a new outlaw?

RIP Edward Ned Kelly.

(Reply from Tom:)
Unfortunately Ned’s stand did little good for him and did not, as you so eloquently stated, change the system for the better. So, despite his best intentions and courage, he did not achieve his goals.

No, we do not need another martyr, we need to work very diligently at creating a new breed of ethical, aware, honest productive citizens who are not fooled by the biggest liar at election time.

Believe me, I have looked long at hard at the present system and how the inequities, injustices and corruption (and they are many) can be addressed.

Each component of the present “system” (parliament, the political parties, the government departments, the judiciary, the medical mafia, the “education” system, the police, the armed forces, the presstitute media, the drug companies, big ag, the censoring tech giants) are so interlocked that any attempt by one element to step outside the existing paradigm is met with strong opposition from the other pieces of the jigsaw until they are back in lock step.

Look at how the present NSW government are brazenly cutting the funding of the only body capable of addressing their corruption, ICAC.

And we do not even have a federal equivalent. (Federal ICAC Now)

No, what we need are more aware, more intelligent, more informed and courageous citizens as the basic building blocks of a better society.

That’s where we need to put our attention!

The Human Touch
Old Man On Park Bench

I had spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist myself, I asked... "Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?" "Why would I do that?" He asked... "Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like transfer. You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!" I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking. He asked "If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house? "Yes, yes"! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything! His answer left me tongue-tied. He said "Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now. You know I am alone... ...this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave. Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried. When your Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk, our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live. Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online? Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer? I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds of Relationships. Does Amazon deliver all this as well?" Technology isn't life. Spend more time with people... ...less with devices. Writer: Unknown

Nikola Tesla Did an Experiment: “I was able to see the past, present, and future at the same time”
Nikola Tesla Experiment

This is the native potential of a being. Many people I talk to have had a perception of what could occur. I’ve had a couple. But they are what I call a “perception of a potential future reality”. The future is not set in stone or cast in concrete. You make your own future. Every day.

If you perceive a negative future you can disagree with it, then, because agree is stronger than disagree, you can put a better future there with which to agree.

Ireland Repays Native American Tribes Who Aided Them During The Great Famine
Navaho Country

In 1847, a Native American , the equivalent of $5,000 today, to aid the Irish in the Great Famine. Now, more than 170 years later, Irish people are returning the favor by donating generously to the Navajo Nation in their time of crisis due to the coronavirus.

I Knew This Guy Was Off But I Did Not Know He Has Form

So Neil Ferguson the Imperial College epidemiologist was behind the disputed research that sparked the mass culling of eleven million sheep and cattle during the 2001 outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease.

He also predicted that up to 150,000 people could die. There were fewer than 200 deaths.

In 2002, Ferguson predicted that up to 50,000 people would likely die from exposure to BSE (mad cow disease) in beef. In the U.K., there were only 177 deaths from BSE.

In 2005, Ferguson predicted that up to 150 million people could be killed from bird flu. In the end, only 282 people died worldwide from the disease between 2003 and 2009.

In 2009, a government estimate, based on Ferguson’s advice, said a “reasonable worst-case scenario” was that the swine flu would lead to 65,000 British deaths. In the end, swine flu killed 457 people in the U.K.

Last March, Ferguson admitted that his Imperial College model of the COVID-19 disease was based on undocumented, 13-year-old computer code that was intended to be used for a feared influenza pandemic, rather than a coronavirus.

Ferguson declined to release his original code so other scientists could check his results. He only released a heavily revised set of code last week, after a six-week delay.

And these people make a living predicting Armageddon, then present a “solution”.

PROBLEM - REACTION -SOLUTION The MSM are too corrupt, inept or lacking in curiosity to do a modicum of due diligence, and the average man on the street is too used to taking orders & spoon fed “information” from “experts” & these experts are never checked.

The “real experts” that provide substantial evidence backed up with FACTS which differs from the narrative gets banned. Where is the logic.

I mean dear God, CNN is now running that professional scam artist Greta as a “coronavirus expert”.

Thanks Miklos.

Let The Waters Flow
Darling River at Wilcannia

Our rivers are fighting for their lives. For decades, governments have allowed big irrigators to suck way too much water out of our rivers, draining them of life. Today we have a chance to fix it.

Right now the NSW Government is setting the rules on how our rivers will be managed for the next ten years. Yet, outrageously, they’re trying to exclude the latest drought data so they can continue to over-allocate water to big industry.

Can you send a quick message to Minister for Water, Melinda Pavey, and Minister for the Environment, Matt Kean, and demand they use up-to-date drought data in NSW’s water sharing plans?

Fast-track Australia to economic recovery and prosperity—expand the CEFC into a national development bank!

This petition of concerned Australians draws to the attention of the House that:

Millions of Australians are suddenly out of work, due to the coronavirus shutdown of an economy already struggling under record national and household debt, and excessively concentrated in financial and real estate speculation, raw materials exports, tourism and foreign education. Many regional communities were already devastated by bushfire and drought.

There is no guarantee all of these lost jobs will “snap back” when public health restrictions are lifted.

Australia has immense potential for economic development in both the major cities and regions that would produce real wealth from expanded manufacturing and agricultural production. Investing in this potential through new infrastructure, industrial development and training will upgrade the economy and create millions of jobs directly and indirectly.

The government’s existing investment institution, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), could be expanded into a national development bank for this purpose. As well as supporting clean energy technology, it could invest in water, power, transportation and high-speed rail infrastructure, and in new industries, including through loans to federal, state and local government agencies for desperately needed public projects, and to entrepreneurs to initiate and expand industrial production.

We therefore ask the House to:

Amend the Clean Energy Finance Corporation Act 2012 to expand the CEFC into a powerful national development bank to revive and transform the economy and create jobs and prosperity, both now and for the future.

Stop the Gas Industry Bailouts
Stop Gas Industry Bailouts

BREAKING: Morrison’s Crooked Covid Commission just recommended billions for a pointless and polluting gas pipeline.

Under the cover of a global pandemic, Scott Morrison set up the National Coordination COVID-19 Commission stacked with his mates from the gas industry1.

And surprise surprise, they’ve just unveiled a wish list that includes billions of dollars in bailout for a polluting gas pipeline2. More taxpayer money for polluting projects that have few jobs and no future.

But we know we can stop it, because we’ve done it before. That’s why tens of thousands of GetUp members and allies joined together to stop a $1 billion bailout for an Adani rail line.

If we join together again to create a massive public outcry, we can stop this bailout too.

Can you add your name to end public bailouts for the gas industry?
