Ban Neonicotinoids in Australia

Europe Union has banned neonicotinoids and Australia must follow. Not only are honeybee under threat but also our 1500 indigenous bee species including the bluebanded bee.

Neonicotinoids insecticides are currently registered for use in Australia on a range of pests and crops by farmers, growers and home gardeners. Neonicotinoids are systemic nerve poisons and kill insects on contact or ingestion. Exposure to sub-lethal doses causes behavioural disturbances and disorientation, which is ultimately fatal for beehives. If these chemicals are killing bees inevitably they will kill us. With any understanding of economics we ought to realise how crucial bees are to the economy and our food system. The European Union has banned the world’s most widely used insecticides from all fields due to the serious danger they pose to bees.

Australian regulators must do whatever they can to protect bees as they provide an irreplaceable pollination role in our food production. The United Nations insist there is not an issue with feeding the worlds population if we concentrate on small scale localised. More employment opportunities, greater nutrition and quality food. Using poison on food is malignant.

Scientists caught ’adjusting’ sea level data to create false impression of rising oceans

Ocean Wave

A scientific paper published by a team of Australian researchers has revealed a startling find: Scientists at the Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) have been “adjusting” historical data regarding tide levels in the Indian Ocean. Their “highly questionable” activities have depicted rapidly rising seas - but the truth is that there is no reason to be alarmed at all. Scientists have found that sea levels are stable - and have been for the entirety of the 20th century.

To put it simply, these PSMSL “scientists” have been arbitrarily changing their data in order to create the illusion of a problem that doesn’t actually exist.

According to the Australian research team, sea levels in the Indian ocean have remained stable for decades. Dr. Albert Parker and Dr. Clifford Ollier recently published their astounding research in the journal Earth Systems and Environment; their extensive research gives an in-depth look at how this massive deception was undertaken.

When men form communities they soon come to recognize that the protection of property is the paramount consideration in drafting constitutions. Such legal protection, however, has never proved sufficient deterrent to a man or group of men from expropriating the property of others. This theft is often perpetrated by those elected or appointed to make or enforce the law and historically these legislators will go to great lengths to perpetuate their power and their influence over the property of their compatriots.

In light of this propensity of the powerful to deprive the governed of the full measure of their God-given liberty, the trial was developed as a way of providing those accused by government or by other men of violating the law of the land with a process by which guilt or innocence could be declared by a group of men equal to the accused in legal standing, in other words, a peer.

Tom: I watched the news tonight with great sadness at the loss of life and property by the current devastating bushfires. If we do not learn from the mistakes made in the recent past we are doomed to make the same or worse errors in the future. I pulled the following from a Volunteer Fire Fighter’s web site.

The ABC were at it again last week, fawning over 23 former fire and emergency leaders who commented, outside their area of expertise, about an alleged relationship between bushfires and climate change.

I found this interesting for a couple of reasons:

1. The amount of effort and the magnitude of scale put into a sctructure that was intended to fail, in order to prevent a bigger destruction and

2. The great example it was of the philosophy of the Lee Child character, Jack Reacher, “Hope for the best, plan for the worst.”

A philosophy sadly lacking in our state and federal governments.

So, as it is the start of a new year, what are you doing to hope for the best with your goals for the year and plan for the worst with your disaster prepardness plans?

Reminds me of the line, “Most people grossly overestimate what they can get done in a day and grossly under estimate what they can accomplish in a decade.”

So your question for today is, “What activity do you do that is a relative waste of time for 90 minutes a day or 10 hours of your week?” Or, if that is too harsh, “What do you presently do for 10 hours a week that is a low priority activity that you could easily drop from your schedule?”

Because ten hours a week adds up to a lot over ten years. 10 hours a week is 520 hours a year or 5,200 hours in 10 years. 5,200 hours divided by 40 hours a week is 130 weeks. 130 weeks divided by 52 weeks in a year is 2.5 years or 30 months. What could you accomplish if you had two and a half years to do it?

Thonk about what major goal would you like to accomplish if someone said, “You don’t have to work for the next two and a half years, your bills are covered, go for it!”

Now allocate that 10 hours a week to it!

And enjoy the proud satisfaction of production and accomplishment of something worthwhile!

The largest party in Norway’s parliament has delivered a significant blow to the country’s huge oil industry after withdrawing support for explorative drilling off the Lofoten islands in the Arctic, which are considered a natural wonder.

The move, by the opposition Labour party, creates a large parliamentary majority against oil exploration in the sensitive offshore area, illustrating growing opposition to the polluting fossil fuel, which has made the country one of the world’s most affluent.

Mark Steele, a 5G campaigner, has been highlighting the dangers of a secret 5G rollout by Gateshead Council where residents are complaining of increased illness and Cancer in the affected area. There’s enough evidence to conclude the new smart 5G arrays on the top of new LED lampposts emit Class 1 Radiation frequencies and should be treated as a danger to the Public. Gateshead Council ignorantly rebutted clear evidence and created false allegations on social media posts and printed leaflets stating that Mark Steele is spreading Pseudo Science and that the arrays are not dangerous.

“Please be assured that there is no scientific basis or credible evidence for any of these scare stories about street lights causing cancer and other illnesses.” They misused Police Powers to gag Mark Steele and yesterday he left a free man and Gateshead Council to fork out £11k of taxpayers money to cover the court cost amounting to woeful ignorance. In Court, none of the Council Officers could explain what 5G is and their leading Government expert refused to attend the Court hearing. In conclusion, the Judge refused to gag Mark, stating:

“The public have a right to know.”

Until next time,
dream big dreams,
plan out how to achieve them,
be continually executing your plans,
enlist people to your causes,
travel and/or read widely, preferably both,
all the while observing what you observe
rather than thinking what you are told to think,
think well of your fellow man,
take time to help your fellow man,
he sorely needs it and it will help you too,
eat food that is good for your body,
exercise your body,
take time to destress,
and do the important things
that make a difference -
they are rarely the urgent ones!
