DIA documents expose British-Obama complicity in creating ISIS
While the Abbott government goes into overdrive to frighten Australians with the threat of ISIS, documents just released by America’s Defense Intelligence Agency reveal that in 2012 the Obama White House foresaw the emergence of ISIS, but welcomed it.
The US, UK, the Gulf States of Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc, and Turkey intended the rise of ISIS as a way to undermine the government of Syrian President Assad, the latest Anglo-American target for “regime change”.
The revealing DIA document is dated 12 August 2012; it was released in a batch of documents on 18 May 2015, following a Freedom of Information request by the conservative group Judicial Watch.
For the record, before quoting the document, two facts bear emphasising:
Like Iraq under the Ba’ath Party regime of Saddam Hussein, Syria under Bashar al-Assad was a secular nation, with a high standard of living and high quality of education, where women and minorities enjoyed equal rights. For all of the often-fabricated horror stories that western media regurgitated about the Iraqi and Syrian regimes, the disingenuous interventions in those countries have created a situation that is infinitely worse, and, as the DIA documents prove, intentionally so.
Syria was the next target for regime change, following Libya, where the British, French and Americans deliberately utilised Al-Qaeda and related Sunni jihadist groups to overthrow and brutally murder Gaddafi, under the spurious pretext of the international community’s “responsibility to protect” civilians. The 24 May 2015 Daily Mail reported former Libyan prime minister Mahmoud Jibril telling the World Economic Forum on North Africa and the Middle East, “Actually we believed the international community’s intervention was to protect civilians but it turned out that their main purpose was to get rid of Gaddafi. What civilians are exposed to right now is much more horrible, and much more dangerous than what took place in 2011, and the world community doesn’t raise a figure about that.” After destroying Libya the Anglo-American neo-cons were intent on rapidly moving on to Syria because they were pursuing a broader strategy, under the cover of the so-called Arab Spring, of fomenting jihadist uprisings to destabilise the regions that flank their ultimate targets for war, Russia and China.

The first revelation in the document is that as they fed propaganda to the world about the so-called “moderate” Free Syrian Army, the US government knew that the opposition to Syrian President Assad was comprised mainly of terrorist groups, which it supported:
“The Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood and AQI [Al-Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria. AQI is familiar with Syria. AQI trained in Syria and then infiltrated into Iraq. AQI supported the Syrian opposition from the beginning… the West [Anglo-Americans], Gulf countries, and Turkey support the opposition; while Russia, China and Iran support the [Assad] regime.” (Emphasis added.)
The document further reveals that the strategy of the jihadists was to declare a religious caliphate, which the Anglo-Americans and their allies also supported:
“Opposition forces are trying to control the Eastern areas adjacent to the Western Iraqi provinces (Mosul and Anbar), in addition to neighbouring Turkish borders. Western countries, the Gulf States and Turkey are supporting these efforts… If the situation unravels there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in Eastern Syria and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition [US et al.] want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime….” (Emphasis added.)
Finally, the document foreshadows the opposition in Syria uniting with Al-Qaeda in Iraq to form the Islamic State that today holds sway in that area:
“This creates the ideal atmosphere for AQI to return to its old pockets in Mosul and Ramadi, and will provide a renewed momentum under the presumption of unifying the jihad among Sunni Iraq and Syria, and the rest of the Sunnis in the Arab world against what it considers one enemy, the Dissenters. ISI could also declare an Islamic State through its union with other terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria, which will create grave danger in regards to unifying Iraq and the protection of its territory.” (Emphasis added.)
Reality
Therefore, behind all of the dramatic and breathless reporting of the last few months and weeks about the ISIS takeovers of Ramadi and Mosul, and Tony Abbott’s “Chicken Little” squawking about ISIS being the greatest national security threat in our lifetimes, is the cynical strategy that our Anglo-American strategic masters set in train—a strategy every bit as cynical as the deliberate lies about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, but with the added, evil intent that they knew they were unleashing monstrous killers straight out of the dark ages on innocent civilians desperate for peace and security.
The seeds of this tragedy lie in the decision by the George W. Bush regime, and continued under the Obama regime, to classify the 28 pages of the official Congressional report into the 9/11 terrorist attack on New York and Washington, to hide them from the public. Those pages are known to detail the role of the Royal family of Britain’s client state Saudi Arabia in financing the terrorists who executed the attack. Despite that fact, and that 15 of the 19 identified hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis, the United States and its risible Coalition of the Willing—primarily Britain and good ol’ Australia—invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. The Saudi royals have remained a protected species, free to fund the spread of the most extreme and oppressive interpretation of Sunni Islam—Wahhabism—including at the points of the guns, swords and knives that the Saudis have supplied to Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
Do not let Tony Abbott frighten you into believing your Muslim neighbour is a threat to your way of life. Successive Australian governments have enthusiastically joined in with the Anglo-American neo-con strategy that has murdered millions in the Middle East and destroyed entire cultures. It has been reported that then-Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd pushed for Australian SAS troops to be deployed in Libya, to fight alongside the jihadists (which would have fit the description of “Australians fighting alongside extremists” that Tony Abbott has now criminalised); on 17 Feb. 2012 CEC leader Craig Isherwood questioned whether Australian SAS troops were on the ground in Syria, fighting alongside extremists. As long as Abbott and his government—and the ALP—continue to support the US and Britain in their evil imperial schemes, they are the threat to our way of life!
