G'day,

Hope you are having a great week.

While the argument for carbon reduction rages, nothing is being done about the many other more destructive and unquestionably man-made forms of pollution that are poisoning the planet. That fact alone is enough to arouse suspicion of the current agenda. When you look into the originators, backers and promoters of a tax on carbon production and whom are the beneficiaries as well as the products they have engineered in the past, it tells a damning story.

This came from the text of a CEC newsletter.

John Hewson, running dog for the City of London

Dr John Hewson is a tool of the City of London’s 30-year demolition of Australian industry who, like his partner-in-crime Ross Garnaut, is pushing the carbon tax to finish Australia off, Citizens Electoral Council leader Craig Isherwood charged today.

“Every mug who rocked up to the carbon tax rallies on Sunday is being suckered by the City of London bankers for whom John Hewson and his accomplices smashed Australian manufacturing and family farms and reduced the national economy to a globalised quarry,” he said.

“Their carbon ‘price’ has got absolutely nothing to do with the environment; instead, it is an economic assault on Australia, a continuation of the free trade, financial deregulation ‘reforms’ instigated by Hewson personally in the late 1970s on behalf of the City of London’s Hill Samuel bank [now Macquarie Bank].

“The very people who shut down our factories, drove 100,000 family farmers off the land, and gave us an unstable currency, high interest rates, privatisation, private toll roads, the GST, unaffordable housing, and an unpayable $1.3 trillion foreign debt, are the very people who want to hit us with the carbon tax.”

Mr Isherwood detailed Hewson’s record as a flunkey for the City of London:

  • In 1975, Hewson was deployed from his U.S. job at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which was dictating financial deregulation to the world, to spearhead such ‘reforms’ in Australia, first at the Reserve Bank and then as economic adviser to Fraser government treasurers Phillip Lynch and John Howard.
  • Hewson personally organised the Campbell Committee, the Australia Financial System Inquiry, headed by Keith Campbell, to ‘recommend’ the float of the dollar and opening Australia up to foreign banks. Committee member Keith Halkerston was a close business associate of Hill Samuel Australia, a subsidiary of the politically-connected Hill Samuel of London (whose longtime chairman was deputy head of intelligence for the British Foreign Office), which prepared years in advance to manage the dollar float.
  • At the same time he was economic adviser to Treasurer John Howard, Hewson worked for Hill Samuel, preparing it to take advantage of the reforms recommended by the Campbell Committee.
  • Hawke and Keating gleefully implemented the Campbell recommendations when they took power in 1983, and Hill Samuel Australia rebranded itself as Macquarie Bank, with John Hewson as Executive Director. Macquarie both directed, and was the chief beneficiary, of the Hawke-Keating economic reforms, including compulsory superannuation and national competition policy.

Mr Isherwood continued, “Hewson’s history shows he is nothing but a lackey for the City of London, an economic hit man like his fellow carbon economist Ross Garnaut.

“It’s time to stand up to these crooks and their City of London masters, by not swallowing their carbon tax scam, but instead adopting protectionist, national banking policies to reindustrialise Australia.”

A Good Article on Diet

Somewhat slanted against meat but nevertheless makes some good arguments in favour of lots of fruit and vegetables with which I agree. http://www.raw-food-health.net/Primal-Diet.html

Facts of Life - Drug Companies

Most people are mostly honest. Being honest they are often not suspicious of the motives of others. They listen to the news and read the papers believing what they are told, they buy groceries at the supermarket and assume it will feed them, they mostly assume all is as it seems, it is mostly well with the world. Unfortunately, this kills them.

Why is there so much societal pressure to get rid of vitamin, mineral and herbal supplements from the establishment?

Becasue drug companies want to make money.

They make money by you taking their vaccines and drugs, whether or not they work or not, whether or not they harm, maim or kill.

They get you to administer their vaccinations to your kids by playing on your desire as a parent to do what is best for your children and help them avoid sickness.

They get you to take their drugs by teaching the medical profession to prescribe them when you are sick or by making you think you are sick so you asking for a "cure".

Is it profitable for them to cure you?

No.

Is it profitable for them to promote natural cures?

No.

Is it profitable for them to suppress natural cures?

Yes.

Is it profitable for them if you are healthy?

No.

Is it profitable if a drug "cures" you?

No.

It is most profitable for them to have you on multiple medications from conception to the grave.

Would someone who wanted to profit from selling you a false hope tell you they were going to tell you lies?

No.

Would they tell lies about the perceived or real "competition" to get you to buy their false cure?

Yes.

If you were an unethical drug company executive and you wanted to increase your company's profits, would you:

Exert a little financial pressure to legislate out of existence the more beneficial "competition" from natural therapies?

Pressure researchers to fudge the results of their "scientific" studies in your favour?

Hide negative research results when submitting applications for a new drug to the regulatory authority?

You bet your health they do./p>

Shampoo alert!

My daughter Teal sent me this one. As she sells goat's milk and Castille soaps and shampoos I thought it was going to be another warning about the toxic and carcinagenic chemicals they put in the commercial stuff. But no!

As I was conditioning my hair in the shower this morning, I took time to read my shampoo bottle. I am in shock!
The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my entire body says "for extra volume and body"!

Seriously, why have I not noticed this before?
Now I understand why I am so "full-figured"!

Tomorrow I am going to start using "Dawn" dish soap. It says right on the label "dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove."

It pays to read the warning labels!

Geomagnetic storm to slam planet on Wednesday, earthquake frequency to rise

"This is the type of time where people should have their earthquake kits handy," TWS Senior Meteorologist Kevin Martin said. "There isn't much evidence, but it is a growing fact that solar storms trigger earthquakes here on Earth. Peru just had a magnitude-6.0 earthquake, and this usually means Baja and California are next in line." http://www.theweatherspace.com/news/TWS-06_07_2011_geoquake.html

Advocating population reduction.

I vote that every genocidal maniac who advocates population reduction instead of using intelligence to solve the problems lead by example and immediately take themselves out of the population pool.

Most constructive thing they could do all round.

Homebuilt $70,000 single-person spacecraft tested

Sending a man to outer space in a homebuilt spacecraft worth US$70,000 may seem like a crazy idea to most of us, but not for a Danish group of enthusiasts who call themselves Copenhagen Suborbitals. Their shoestring-budget single-person flying bullet might have come one step closer to an actual manned flight, thanks to a partially successful test flight last Friday (June 3). http://www.gizmag.com/homebuilt-single-person-spacecraft-tested/18816/
